Project 3 Minecraft

Welcome to my website. I decided to create a website on one my favorite games because I think it would be fun and educational to try and design a website for a product such as a game. This is the Home Page which includes a two page layout and 4 web pages starting off with an introduction of Minecraft. Each page includes a slideshow and a description will be right here for each page. I included a license on every page on left column side citing web page template. Under the license is a JavaScript that includes a live date script updated every second created by Dynamic Drive. I had to edit a lot of this template overall this was a big project I got a better feel at web development and it's challenges but it was a fun experience. I added a link to my student home page only on the home page for easier access. Feel free to look around and learn about Minecraft. Have Fun!!

Welcome To Minecraft

What is Minecraft?....

Minecraft is a sandbox game which allows players to construct textured cubes in a 3D world. Developed by Markus Persson, aka "Notch" which it's gameplay was inspired by Dwarf Fortress, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and Dungeon Keeper. Minecraft's gameplay besides creative and building aspects include other activities such as exploration, gathering resources, crafting, and combat.

Minecraft is an open world game with no specific goals for the player to accomplish, which allows players a huge amount of freedom in choosing how to play. However, there is an achievement system the gameplay by default is first person. The gameplay revolves around breaking and placing blocks. Minecraft is composed of rough 3D objects, mainly cubes that are arranged in a fixed grid pattern each representing a type of material. Players can gather these material blocks and use them anywhere, which allows for no hold imagination constructions. Minecraft is more than just breaking blocks and placing blocks it is about adventuring with friends and letting your imagination come to life.
